Internationally renowned artist Curtis Goldstein (http://curtisgoldstein.blogspot.com/) will host a FREE hands-on workshop about street painting on August 21, 2010 here in Fredericksburg as preparation for Via Colori® Fredericksburg, sponsored by a grant from the Economic Development Authority.


What you need to know: You don't have to be a VCF "participating artist" to attend this workshop--this training event is open to the interested public! You don't have to be a resident of Frederickburg, either. No experience, artistic skill, or even inclination are necessary! And, all materials are provided!

What's the catch? This workshop is indeed free and open to EVERYONE; but, in order to attend, you MUST RSVP on this site or on our blog (http://viacolorifredericksburg.blogspot.com/). You will NOT be admitted if you do not register in advance.

So, if you're interested in learning the art of street painting, including pastel use on pavement and creating dimensional effects, then please register. We ask you to include your name, email address and phone number. Children under 18 are welcome to participate but must be accompanied by an adult.
